Johnson University took on Judson College on Thursday night, but came up short. Both teams went into half time level at 0-0. Judson came out strong in the second half and put a ball in the back of the net during an attack that created a lot of confusion in the box for Johnson University goalkeeper, Jailie Bullock. Judson's second goal came in the 79th minute of play.
Both teams played fairly evenly with the Royals taking 11 shots to Judson's 16. Jailie Bullock had 7 saves on the night, Judson had 6.
It took Johnson University 89 minutes to score their first goal, but would not be enough. The finish was made by Emily Allen from a free kick outside the top of the box sent in by Lori St. John, earning Lori her 4th assist on the season. This is Emily's first goal of the season.
The Lady Royals take the field next against Hiwassee College on Monday, October 2.
