Royals Rally Past Bluefield for Road Win

Johnson picked up a big conference road victory Wednesday night, outlasting Bluefield (VA) 92–85 behind a dominant second-half surge.

The Royals trailed 46–39 at the break but erupted for 53 points in the second half, shooting 55.6% from the field and getting key contributions from across the lineup.

Jahmar Brown led the way off the bench with a game-high 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting, including three made threes. Livingston Cross added 18 points while Mason Lockhart continued his steady production with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Davon Cottle scored 12—going a perfect 8-for-8 from the free-throw line—and Mateu Escamilla Martin provided 11 points in 16 strong minutes.

Johnson's balanced attack featured five players in double figures and 23 team assists, helping the Royals overcome Bluefield's hot shooting early.

With the win, Johnson improves to 5–7 overall and 5–2 in league play.

The Royals return home on December 13 to host Union Commonwealth.
