The Lady Royals battled throughout but came up short in a 5-3 loss to Reinhardt in Kingsport, Tennessee.
After three scoreless innings, Reinhardt broke through in the fourth before using a five-run fifth inning to create separation. Despite the deficit, the Lady Royals showed resilience, responding with two runs in the bottom of the fifth and another in the sixth to cut the lead to 5-3.
Kadie Presley sparked the offense with a triple and an RBI, while Madison Hood followed with a run-scoring single in the same inning. Dylan Jablonski added an RBI double in the sixth to continue the comeback effort.
At the plate, Audrey Moorhouse led the way with a strong 3-for-4 performance, consistently putting pressure on the Reinhardt defense.
In the circle, Madisun Pritchard took the loss, while Alyssa Nicely provided solid relief work to keep the game within reach late.
Following the tournament, Moorhouse and Adelaide Hubbard were both named to the All-Tournament Team, recognizing their standout performances throughout the week.
The Lady Royals now turn their attention to the national stage, as the selection show for the opening rounds of the national tournament is set for May 6.
