The Lady Royals were held scoreless Monday afternoon as they fell 4-0 to top-seeded Lindsey Wilson College in postseason play.
Johnson was limited to three hits in the contest, with Adelaide Hubbard leading the way offensively after going 2-for-3 at the plate. Madison Hood added the Lady Royals' other hit in the loss.
Alyssa Nicely started in the circle and pitched 5.2 innings, striking out three batters. Taylor Minnick recorded the final out in relief.
Lindsey Wilson broke through in the second inning with a solo home run before adding another solo shot in the fourth to take a 2-0 lead. The Blue Raiders extended the advantage in the sixth inning with a sacrifice fly and an RBI single to secure the 4-0 final.
The Lady Royals will return to action tomorrow at 5 p.m. Central Time.
