Will Varner Wins an AAC Gold Glove Award

KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals are proud to announce that Will Varner was awarded the Gold Glove award for third base this season.
Varner had a stellar defensive year, earning a fielding percentage of .991 while recording 185 putouts and adding 31 assists.
Varner's defense was a mainstay for the Royals at multiple positions, as he also logged a lot of innings at first base.
He had a tremendous season and is now being honored amongst the best fielders in the conference for it.
