Bio
Jason Kallenberg begins his first season as a member of the Johnson University women's basketball staff under head coach Bryon Lawhon, joining the program in July 2025. Kallenberg brings 25 years of coaching experience from the college, high school, and travel ball levels. He served as the head coach at Knox Central from 2006-2010. He was named district coach of the year in the 09-10 season. Kallenberg was also the head coach at William Blount from 2020-2024. He has 17 years experience as an assistant starting with Powell HS followed by stops at Oak Ridge HS, Maryville HS, Fulton HS, William Blount HS, and Maryville College. He also coached for the TN Flight EYBL and was a co-founder of the TN Flight Select. Kallenberg played a key role in winning district and region Championships at Powell, Fulton, Maryville, and Oak Ridge. He was also instrumental in helping Maryville College win a conference championship in the 04-05 season. He has a strong reputation in player development.
A Kentucky native, Kallenberg played high school basketball and baseball, then played baseball at Maryville College.
He is married to his wife Kim, and they have one daughter, Jenna.
